The Crewe-based company has unveiled the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid restyling, the hybrid variant of the British SUV‘s facelift. Following the launch of the purely thermal variant (including the Speed version), Crewe is now presenting the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid restyling, the hybrid variant of the facelift of the British SUV.
Hybrid capability – At the heart of the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid restyling is, of course, the hybrid powertrain, comprising a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol unit and an electric motor, producing 449 hp and 700 Nm of torque and giving a range of around 50 km in all-electric mode.
Serving the electric unit (compact and located inside the transmission, between the gearbox and the engine) is a 17.3 kWh lithium battery, made up of 168 individual cells, which promises 160,000 kilometres eight years of life. A full recharge takes two and a half hours.
The restyled Bentley Bentayga Hybrid also features a mode called ‘Bentley Hybrid Efficiency‘, designed to provide feedback on the accelerator pedal, giving the driver a ‘pressure point’ during zero-emission driving to ‘denote the boundary between pure electric and hybrid power‘ to encourage its use.
The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid restyling‘s features include infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless standard, a fully digital instrument cluster and a new 10.9-inch screen anti-reflective coating and enhanced touch functionality.
